Larry McKenna

Larry McKenna has been playing tenor sax for many years. He has played and recorded with Woody Herman's Big Band, Buddy DeFranco, and Dr. Bruce Klauber. He has also played with Clark Terry, John Faddis, Frank Sinatra, Rosemary Clooney, Tony Bennett, and Sarah Vaughn. He recorded his first CD on his own in 1997. As one of Philadelphia's best tenor sax players, Larry spends time playing local gigs in places like Alex's Jazz Underground.
