About our Worship Services

We seek and welcome guests and visitors to our worship services and other events.  With rare exceptions, our services include Holy Communion.

Sunday Services

8:30 a.m.

This is a spoken service conducted in contemporary English using Rite II in the Book of Common Prayer, including a sermon.  The service time is approximately 45 minutes.

10:30 a.m.

This is a traditional Episcopal liturgy celebrated in contemporary English using Rite II in the Book of Common Prayer, including a sermon.  Music is provided by the choir, which includes professional soloists, organist and other musicians.  Service time is approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.  Nursery care is provided.   Sunday School immediately follows the celebration of the Eucharist and the sermon is at the end of the worship service.  A hospitality hour follows the service.

Healing Service

There is a healing service on the first Sunday of every month immediately following the 10:30 a.m. service.  It is held in the Chapel.

Jazz Vespers

Jazz Vespers are held on the first Sunday of every month (September through June) at 7:00 p.m.  The service of Evening Prayer features a homily and Jazz music performed by some of the finest artists in the greater Philadelphia area.  The lead jazz guitarist is our own Father Ron Parker.  The service lasts approximately one hour and is followed by a hospitality hour.
